Dinner Rolls with a Twist!

A very simple roll recipe made with love and a twist!

Dinner Rolls with a Twist!

1 cup warm (110°) milk
2 pkg dry yeast
2 tsp sugar
1 egg, beaten
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 egg yolk
poppy seeds and sesame seeds

Pour warm milk in large bowl of mixer, sprinkle with yeast and then sugar.  Let stand until frothy.  Mix in egg, flour, and salt. Knead.  Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in size about 1 hour.  Grease baking sheet.  Divide dough into 16 even pieces.  Roll into ropes and shape as desired.  Place on baking sheet and let rise 20-30 minutes.  Preheat oven to 450°.  Brush rolls with egg yolk and sprinkle with seeds.  Bake 10-12 minutes until golden.
