It’s fun to try different chocolate chip cookie recipes. So many different variations of something absolutely wonderful! This one has grated unsweetened chocolate added to the batter, The Fam loved them.
3½ cups flour
1¼ tsp baking soda
1½ tsp baking powder
1½ tsp salt
1¼ cups butter
1¼ cups brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chunks
1 (1 oz) square unsweetened chocolate, grated, or finely chopped
1 cup white chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°. Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Set aside. Using a mixer, cream butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir chocolate chunks, unsweetened chocolate, and white chocolate into dough. Drop by cookie scoop onto cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. Makes 4½ to 5 dozen cookies.
