How to glamorize Oreos for the Wedding reception recipe 3. I was referred to this recipe by my sister-in-law, thanks Sara. These are so good! I wanted a picture with a bite taken from one and had to do it a few times to get it right. ;0)

1 (16 oz) pkg OREO Cookies
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 (16 oz) pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
Crush 36 cookies to fine crumbs, place in large bowl. Add softened cream cheese and mix with electric mixer until well blended. Scoop cookie mixture into balls, about 1-inch diameter (I used my very smallest scoop to get even size balls). Makes about 50. Put in refrigerator.
Melt chocolate chips over double boiler (or microwave). Dip Oreo balls in chocolate, (I used two fondue forks) place on silpat or wax paper covered baking sheet. Sprinkle with colored sprinkles, or finely crushed Oreo cookies crumbs. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour. Or…leave plain and when set drizzle with melted white chocolate. Store truffles, covered, in refrigerator.
